stationary i noe im weird. but stationary shopping is really therapeutic for me. hahaha. it's relatively cheap toO!!! getting nice fancy pens with ink that smells like fruit, or looks like a colour off the rainbow. how happy is that. haha. i think it all started with the bookshops in primary sch? haha..they always had really cool erasers and pencils..(cos we cldn't use pens till primary4 i think?!) well, at least THEN they were like, the highlight of my life la..i'd visit the bookshop aunty everyday, in between turns at hopscotch or pepsi cola 1,2,3 (until my silly principal banned it!!) but yea. i guess that's how it all started. haha. and when i was living at west coast, from p1-6 (the longest i ever stayed put at a place!) i'd go to this stationary shop called "lucky star" i noe i noeee!! but still i'd go there everyday & buy something. and at dinner, i'd show everyone what i bought. my parents complained in the beginning cos the drawers filled up quicker than anyone could use the stationary. but after awhile, it was like, highlight of my day & dinner time..hahaha..i love my sad life =)


this trip i was back in spore, was at west coast mkt with my sister and her bf..we were da bao-ing dinner. while waiting for the food, i decided to go see if "Lucky star" was still there! and i highly doubted it cos almost all the other shops had moved. but!!! it was there!! and the guy who used to peer at me over the counter was still there too!! i didnt go in, pai se la..haha, but the dude happened to turn to look and he smiled at me!!! he recognized meee!! hahaha..(the shop was half it's size :( my sister insists i had a hand in it's downsizing..bleahh) seeing that shop reminded me of my bike rides everyday to the shop, and scavanging all the shelves, when life was so simple. biggest dilemma was what to have for lunch, how to hound my maid, whether to kill the coy in my dad's pond (i.dun.fancy.fish.very.much.steamed.fried.or.swimming) Life was good. but then i had to go and grow up.


still. stationary shopping has the same effect on me. what triggered this entry was thinking about my upcoming exams and wondering which pens to bring. i realize i still go back to using the same pen i've used since jc - uniball signo DX 0.38..hahaha

ps: meien, u still using pilot G1??? u've been using that since...pri.5???? hahaha..& do you still tag them?? :)
