happy labour day my pun tat.
have you ever been in the "bus-stop dilemma"? when, there are 2 bus stops with buses that could take you to where you're going. but they're in opposite directions & you Have to settle on one or the other cause if you tried to stand in the middle to see which bus comes first & try to Then make mad dash, you're likely to miss both buses. happened to me this morning. almost got run over (it wasn't THAT close, dun worry folks) by cab while i tried to run from my 2nd choice stop BACK to first choice. (see? u really can't try & do both stops.) the moment i got on the tram, the driver announces "gOooOoD morning everybody! NEXT STOP, LAST STOP! thaaaank youuuu!!" wtf. i could've walked that distance in the time it took me to dash between tram stops! so along with everybody else, i hopped off & had already decided to walk to nearest coffee place, grab my coffee & go back home. if i'd walked to uni in flipflops it'd have taken me 30mins. but this morning i was in boots.
SUEDE boots + wet ground = at least 45mins.. so i did jus that & on the way back, i remembered i had a parcel to pick up at the post office & it was only a tiny detour. i was armed with latte, so it was no problemo.
12steps away from post office: i screech to halt (okay la i wasn't going THAT quick) cause all the lights in post office are off.
12steps away from post office: i also realize i made a guy trip :(. i think he got a shock cos i'd stopped so abruptedly, that even tho he was a good, 5 steps away, he felt inclined to stop but ended up tripping over himself. oopsie. (yes, i helped him up..)
right outside post office: i read a sign that says "13th march, labour day holiday"
i didn't mention that with all this walking, the tips & heels of my boots had gotten quite wet. crrrraaaaappp. i realy love these boots. they're teal, slightly scruched at the sides & they have buttons running along the outter side of them. can you tell the tips are wet?????? :(
jo: haha. thank you! i heart those jeans tooo!! i found fairly skinny leg sevens in this shop, but they were like SGD$450 can!!! ishen jing bing!!! grace: u don't noe him (u're very blessed u don't!! :)) & killing him off is waaayy too easy on him. he deserves to be tortured.slowly. haha :) & the couple were like on 2 different planets or something right? haha..so crazy!! jacq: welcome back dearest!!! how was taiwan?? & have you gotten any less crazy whilst away?? haha i realize i could've fit more tea into box..but i hope this'll last you alittle while more, till i come back, possibly?? :) & im beginning to think scottish (?) breakfast tea is but a figment of your imagination. they dun sell it anywhere.
