it's time for my standard "i miss singapore" post. i noe i've totally slacked off. i always do when i go back. haha. but i see you guys all the time. what else is there to say? maybe my life jus ain't that exciting. & i dun have many epiphanies, most of the time all that's going on in brain are "what to eat what to eat" & "who's free when.."i got back & of course, something had to screw up at home. my internet's down. modem died or something. spent 1.5hrs on the phone with somebody who couldnt coherently verbalize instructions. (i bought prepaid internet later that day but still can't get it to work.) my printer died the same morning so i couldnt even print the assignment i finished between getting home at 7am and 3pm. a kind soul has offered to gimme his printer so i hope that works out. random note: on the way to the airport i was trying to console myself & i kept thinking, "i'll be home soon..a mth or so aint long at all." but when i touched down in melbourne i thought. waitaminute. that also means i only have a mth or so left in melbourne. i'll never be go crazy clubbing, rush assignments, mug for exams next day, over paying international student again. suddenly the month doesn't seem so long anymore. was telling mark, if i finished an assignment a day (clearly hypothetical) & packed in 3 days. i could be back by next friday. but that's too soon. i still have to be photo-whoring tourist with henri. go to the slopes with jerald, derek, ivan & arun. visit meien in perth. melissa in sydney. stock up on work clothes. visit the melbourne zoo. ktv with glenn & calvin. go to that christmas-y restaurant in dandenong. go gold-digging in ballarat. do one more castle rave. surf (read:watch) in torquay. tourists who come for a week have seen more of melbourne than i have in 4 yrs. what have i done all this time i've been in melbourne you say? rush to go back to singapore i guess.
